Following the change to Coronavirus restrictions from 10th December, the position regarding funerals is set out below.

We are open to personal callers but if possible, please telephone to make an appointment.
Funerals can go ahead without restrictions on the numbers of attendees – however, you should continue to consider the risks of close contact with others, particularly if you are clinically extremely vulnerable or not yet fully vaccinated.
Churches and Crematoria can generally accommodate their usual full capacity numbers. Masks must be worn inside the venues, unless you are in one of the exempt categories.
Singing will be permitted if the family are comfortable with this, but please be aware of the risks of transmission.
At the funeral service, the coffin will generally be carried in before the mourners enter the chapel. It is requested that mourners do not touch or kiss the coffin.
Crematorium can usually offer a webcast of the funeral to allow family and friends to watch the service either live, or at a later time. We will arrange this for you, and advise you of the crematorium fees depending on the options chosen.
Wakes may take place in hospitality venues or private homes and gardens without restriction.
