The above figures include all of our professional services such as administration, facilities, support and staffing. We do not make any additional charges for home visits or Out of Hours appointments to arrange the funeral.

Our charges do not include disbursements which are fees that have to be paid to third parties in order to complete the funeral arrangements. For example:

• Crematorium fees / Cemetery charges
• Doctors’ fees
• Minister / Celebrant’s fees
• Order of Service sheets
• Flowers

The total funeral cost will comprise our service fees, plus disbursements and cost of the coffin.

It is our standard practice to request a deposit of £1,500, payable when the funeral is arranged.

We are able to provide supplementary services including:
Order of Service Sheets, live-streaming of the funeral service, visual tributes (slideshows), placing newspaper notices, making the necessary arrangements for floral tributes and catering, and dealing with “In Memorium” donations to the charity of your choice. Some of these items incur additional charges – please ask for details.

We are required by the CMA to publish a Standardised Price List, and this can be found on our website or in branch. If you are comparing our costs with other funeral directors, we would recommend that you refer to their full price lists to see the true costs involved
